Summary :


Throughout the Boston Celtics’ storied history, they have long stood for equality and respect, including drafting the first African American player, hiring the first African American coach, and playing the first all-black starting five. The Celtics have won a record 18 NBA Championships spanning five (5) decades, including eight (8) in a row from 1959-1966, and winning their most recent in 2008. In addition, forty-one (41) former Celtics players, management, coaches, or staff have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In December 2002 the team returned to local ownership for the first time since 1963.


Are you passionate about crafting and sharing fresh, engaging content? We’re on the lookout for a Part-Time Digital Content Associate who has a passion for the sports industry and has a strong command of social media and editorial writing. You will collaborate closely with our Sr. Director of Digital Content and Team Analyst/Reporter to bring your ideas to life.


Responsibilities :


  • Team Coverage: Travel to practices and games to generate compelling written daily content that captures the spirit of the team, highlights key moments, and engages our fanbase.
  • Website Management: Assist in maintaining and updating Celtics.com, ensuring it reflects the latest news, stats, and team developments.
  • Social Media Engagement: Work with social media department to post content on Celtics social media channels, creating conversations and connections with our fans.
  • Studio Production Support: Collaborate on innovative content ideas and help produce engaging studio materials that resonate with our audience.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • Proven track record of delivering under pressure without compromising quality.
  • Solid understanding of basketball, the NBA and the Boston Celtics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a curiosity about storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extremely driven and organized
