Civil Engineer

Title : Plan Check Engineer

Location : Onsite in Oceanside

Pay : $80K-120K (dependent on experience)

Job Description :

A top civil engineering group is looking for a Plan Check Engineer to join their team. The Plan Check Engineer will play a pivotal role in reviewing various project documents, such as grading plans and stormwater mitigation plans, to ensure the accuracy and correctness of the project plan.

Minimum requirements:

• 4 year minimum of Land Development Plan Review
• Accredited BSCE
• Experience in writing Conditions of Approval (COAs)
• Field Observation Experience to assist with writing COAs
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification issued through NCEES by any state
• Map review
• Grading Plan review
• Stormwater mitigation plan review
• SWPPP and WQMP review
• Ability to review legal descriptions and legal documents
• Strong written and oral communication

Plusses:

Professional Civil Engineering License issued by the State of California Board of Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologist.
