Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Hybrid-3 days in the office)
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated self-starter to coordinate Direct Import Orders from our national distribution network.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Data entry of customer orders with a high degree of accuracy within 24-hour turn-around time
- Distribution of accurate and compliant U.S. Customs documentation to distributors and brokers
- Monitoring the status of customer orders, domestic and international and correspond consistently with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers and our internal sales teams
- Update internal systems with dates of events, i.e. shipping and delivery
- Prepare orders for billing and execute the direct import billing
- Deliver world-class customer service through e-mail and phone
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding or import/export industry required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Import/Export requirements (certificates/documents) specific to Caribbean markets
- Demonstrated experience working in an environment of multi-tasking
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
- Wine knowledge a plus
