Job Description
Roux is seeking a responsible, self-sufficient, energetic Senior Site Coordinator to independently perform construction management and client liaison activities at a variety of client project locations. Candidates should be prepared to work on projects related to the investigation, environmental remediation, facility upgrade, and capital projects of industrial and commercial sites. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required. We offer a friendly, professional atmosphere with excellent benefits and a salary commensurate with experience.
Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 20+ years of relevant experience
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong field management skills
  • Proficient in performing various routine field activities including but not limited to nuclear density testing, construction material testing, and construction inspections
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field
  • Work assignments may require extended field days beyond the typical 8-hour day
  • Understanding of environmental and health & safety regulations and performing work in a compliant manner with the regulations and facility safety requirements
  • Willingness to support the project team to service clients and complete projects on time and on budget
  • Ability to perform physical labor including the ability to physically move around outdoors in various terrains, occasionally lift and carry objects and equipment, and climb ladders to access areas
  • Use of a personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel between worksites (note: a Company vehicle may be available for use)
  • Field work year-round, most of which is outdoors
Preferred Requirements
  • Valid OSHA 40 HAZWOPER Certification and 8-Hour Refresher course certification
Note: Roux will provide training for new employees who do not already possess these certifications.
Essential Duties
  • Conducting construction inspection and providing oversight to third-party contractors
  • Being a liaison in the field with client managers and subcontracting partners to develop additional prospective work
  • Performing field geotechnical parameter testing
  • Completing health and safety audits and leading operational safety reviews
  • Maintaining a strong health and safety focus while performing field tasks.
