Hotel Operations Director

The Hotel Operations Director will be primarily responsible for optimizing resources through process improvements and empowering hotels with greater autonomy and decision-making power to expedite responses to customer needs within a defined framework.

General Functions:

  1. Continuously monitor hotel revenue and profitability through their indicators. In case of deviations, coordinate with the relevant area or region to implement necessary actions and follow up.
  2. Achieve the economic results planned in the annual revenue budget and business plan.
  3. Lead the division's team of directors, providing autonomy and decision-making within an established framework.
  4. Ensure compliance with the strategic plan generated by general management for the hotels and the area under their charge.
  5. Review the sales strategy for the division's hotels in conjunction with the commercial and sales teams.
  6. Maximize additional revenues and profits associated with rooms and points of sale in the hotels.
  7. Coordinate and participate in the preparation of hotel budgets based on the company's objectives.
  8. Participate in defining the main KPIs in conjunction with the Chief Product Officer.
  9. Ensure the implementation of operational procedures in hotels as outlined in the corresponding manuals to maintain brand standards according to the hotel's category.
  10. Ensure compliance with brand standards across all departments based on product types defined by Brand and the Guest Experience Director.
  11. Guarantee engagement in all hotels in their area based on annual surveys to retain and enhance talent.
  12. Participate in defining and following up on the training plan for the hotels in their area to ensure constant growth of human talent.
  13. Maintain relationships and have the ability to inspire trust and influence key business stakeholders (internal or external).

Job Profile:

Education Level:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
  • Master's in Tourism, Commercial, or Revenue Management.

Languages:

  • High-level English.
  • German (positively valued).
  • French (positively valued).
  • High-level Spanish.

Specific Knowledge:

  • Strategic planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Knowledge of Brand, commercial, and revenue.
  • High capacity for leading multidisciplinary teams.

Experience:

  • Internal: 10 years in hotel management and leadership.
  • External: 5 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in commercial and operations.
  • Marketing experience in the tourism sector.
