Join Nexstar Nation in beautiful Sacramento California (DMA #20) to lead our sales organization using the power of a FOX affiliate and an extensive digital media portfolio and many more marketing options.

As the data driven, tech savvy Director of Sales, you’ll oversee all aspects of the Sales Department, developing strong client relationships, innovative marketing ideas, managing inventory throughout all channels, revenue goal setting and achievement, budgeting, and staff management.

The Director of Sales is responsible for delivering best-in-class client relationships & sales performance with new business & critical key accounts. This role will be accountable for implementing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market development in line with Nexstar's vision and values.

Additional Job Responsibilities

  1. Meet and exceed sales budgets leveraging Nexstar’s growing suite of products.
  2. Excellent talent management skills: Ability to identify and hire top talent, develop, coach, mentor managers and sellers and retain talent.
  3. Create unique and customized media plans to drive results for advertisers leveraging Nexstar Digital’s full suite of products that can include but not limited to: OTT, Video, Social, Data, Addressable.
  4. Ability to manage a client pipeline and project revenue utilizing a CRM and forecasting accurately.
  5. Demonstrate a track record of strategic sales and revenue growth in the digital video ecosystem.
  6. High fluency in ad technology, understanding data and video advertising with strong communication and presentation skills.
  7. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively internally across multiple departments.
  8. Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a team.
  9. Willingness to take on additional opportunities as company expands.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years’ experience in selling TV, Video and Digital.
  2. Positive, competitive and has a winning attitude.
  3. Expert using the Microsoft Office products to manage efficient and effective sales operations.
  4. Proven track record of leading high-functioning teams and consistently achieving revenue goals.
  5. Expert in inventory management in a competitive market.
  6. Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  7. Successful sports sales management experience a must.
  8. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation: $200,000+/annual plus bonus, commensurate with experience and skill level.
