We are looking for a Global Medical Head of Immunology New Populations who is passionate, strategic, and adaptable to join us in our Global Immunology medical team, based in our Headquarters in Brussels, BE, or Slough, UK (preferred) or alternatively Atlanta, US.

About the role:

You will be working in a team that drives medical expertise and leadership for the Rheumatology and Dermatology therapeutic areas. In this role, you will guide the strategy for the adoption of innovative solutions, collaborating across multiple teams to address unmet patient needs and ensure successful life cycle management for our assets.

Who you’ll work with:

You will collaborate with the cross-functional Immunology Strategy team and provide clinical subject matter expertise and medical leadership across discovery, translational medicine, clinical, and business development efforts. You’ll work closely with core Population Medical Heads, Asset Medical Heads, and other key leaders to ensure alignment and drive scientific credibility in dermatology and rheumatology projects.

What you’ll do:

  1. Lead medical and scientific strategy within Rheumatology and Dermatology areas across the organization.
  2. Provide strategic guidance for the development and lifecycle of medical assets in relation to new populations.
  3. Act as a key contributor to the global medical affairs leadership team.
  4. Represent the company in scientific and innovation forums and partnerships.
  5. Lead the transition from early-stage projects to asset status.
  6. Collaborate with leaders across the organization for scientific subject matter expertise.

  1. Deep expertise in Immunology, with a proven ability to translate science into business value. Expertise specifically in Dermatology is highly desirable.
  2. 7+ years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Strong track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and strategy execution.
  4. Ability to lead within a matrixed organization and manage complex environments.
  5. Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
