Position Summary
Under minimal administrative direction, is responsible for the 24 hour organization, management and direction of one or more patient care units. Provides health care and support for adult population.
Responsibilities
  • Interview, hire, orient, schedule and assign work duties.
  • Coach, counsel and implement appropriate disciplinary action.
  • Evaluate patient care outcomes utilizing Quality Improvement process.
  • Develop, review, and enforce policy and procedure, and standards of practice.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of operational and capital budgets.
  • Develops staff performance goals and evaluates completion and staff competency.

Requirements
  • Current R.N. licensure for Ohio and maintain.
  • BSN Preferred
  • Current CPR card and maintain.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, physicians, patients, families, and visitors.
  • Must possess analytical abilities and sound patient care knowledge necessary to support provision of all aspects of patient care.

  • Maintain knowledge of new technology and equipment
