Summary of Position :
This position is responsible for managing the HR Information System, HR-related reporting, and benefits administration. Under minimal oversight, this role optimizes HR systems and processes to ensure compliance and data integrity while supporting business needs. The role interfaces with all levels of internal and external stakeholders and approaches deliverables with a customer focus. The position is also responsible for documenting and maintaining HR processes and records.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for researching, recommending, developing & implementing improvements to the HCM systems through new functionality and implementations including integrations and configurations to maximize efficiency.
  • Work with the business to proactively develop reports and dashboards to inform business decisions and provide real-time people data.
  • Provide direction, knowledge and training on HCM systems to end users and other team members.
  • Optimize HR processes (both internal to HRIS and external) for efficiency, business needs and change management purposes.
  • Accountable for data integrity, including quality, accuracy, timeliness and usability of HRIS data.
  • In partnership with functional area specialists, develops and documents supporting guidelines, workflows and procedures for HR processes.
  • Perform regular security and compliance audits on system administrators, employee access and process flows.
  • Safeguards the privacy of employee information from improper use and disclosure.
  • Acts as a liaison with insurance carriers and administrators to ensure effective benefit delivery.
  • Analyzes HRIS performance metrics and resolves application issues.
  • Research technological advancements of trends. Responsible for leading system update efforts.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws relating to HR administration a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills required).
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, and accurate attention to detail.
  • Experience in documenting processes and performing audits.
  • Ability to analyze information and make independent judgment calls.
  • Process driven, self-motivated, and can work independently.
  • Works well in a team environment and can handle a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels or the organization.
  • Ability to discern and maintain confidentiality as required.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
Education & Experience :
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or IT preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in Human Resources or IT required.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS system required.
  • System implementation/change management experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow and/or Workday is preferred.
Travel Requirements :
  • Work is performed at a CIVI location (either Denver, CO or The Woodlands, TX) Tues-Thurs with an option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9 hour works days M-Thurs and 4-hour workdays Friday.
  • Travel required to the Civitas field locations on an as needed basis.
