In the role of Senior Data Engineering Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Production support, Requirements Elicitation, Design, coding, and testing. You will play an important role in production support and be involved in handling enhancement requests. You will also deliver high-quality code/deliverables and lead the design and delivery. You will be part of a team that supports the existing technical landscape and fosters a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Skills:
- Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Seattle, WA and must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 7 years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Spark/Scala, Python, and proficient in SQL and complex query handling.
- At least 5 years of experience with Big Data processing.
- Experience in framing high-level and low-level design artifacts, validation of work deliverables.
- Must have experience in leading support engagements.
- Candidate should be able to build and maintain work relationships with the client leadership team, 3rd party vendors, and business partners.
- Candidate should involve in effective communications with the offshore-onshore delivery team and in conducting and moderating client meetings.
- Should have the capacity to bring in additional business by working with client partners by participating in meetings related to business development, technical discussions, and new initiatives.
- Experience in the Retail domain and must have worked on a global support delivery model in previous assignments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in any Cloud and Data Warehousing experience; a reporting background is nice to have.
