Th e range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.Position SummaryDrive and support employee relations programs, culture, inclusion, performance, policies, and procedures across Pernod Ricard North America (PR NA). Develop and implement programs to promote employee engagement and provide counsel and guidance on issues related to employee performance, Human Resource (HR) investigations, remediation of employment related disputes, and terminations. To ensure alignment of the employee experience with organizational strategies to provide a sustainable workplace environment and culture.Major Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesEmployee Relations and Performance ManagementConduct investigations in response to a range of employee relations concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.Enrichment of tools and processes for providing clients and business partners with Employee Relations support, including coaching, interpreting policies and practices.Develop consistency in practices and processes for ER issues including investigative matters.Provide coaching and guidance with People Leaders for employee performance matters, including Performance plans and related support.Consult employees from all levels of the organization, People Business Partners (PBP) and Legal to deliver seamless support and establish professional credibility and mutual trust.Support HR activities for case management and provide recommendations for solutions.Make recommendations to resolve issues and prepare appropriate documentation.Drive execution of Performance Improvement Plans in partnership with functional leaders, consulting with PBPs for background and alignment.Partner with PBP teams to inform about ER and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) solutions and work with Legal Team when appropriate.Engagement and WellbeingDevelop and implement employee engagement and wellbeing programming in collaboration with senior leadership; promoting the organization's values through various communication channels and initiatives to reinforce a strong company culture as well as the DEI agenda.Drive purposeful in-person experience and adoption.Coordination and alignment with Total Rewards on Benefits, Comp and other support for wellbeing and employees work life balance.Company Policies and PracticesMaintain and update workforce and workplace policiesSupport programs which ensure compliance to local, state and federal level laws and statutes.Partner with SME(s) in each policy area to ensure alignment and relevance (e.g., T&E with Finance, PTO with Total Rewards).Management education and supportSupport the creation/implementation of educational programs for managers/leaders.Provide training and proactive prevention strategies to create an environment of trust and confidence.Remain current on workplace trends and leverage this information to support the diagnosis of HR issues and the development and evaluation of HR policies and practices.Data Analysis, Reporting and AccountabilityLead the implementation, interpretation of results and action planning for Company Engagement and Wellbeing surveys (I Say, Wellbeing and Inclusion Index).Partner with PBP teams, Executive and Leadership Teams to align companywide engagement action items with individual team plans to ensure consistency across the organization.Work on adhoc projects impacting organizational needs within the People, Culture & Wellbeing areas.Exemplify standards of ethical, open communication and implement standards concretely across the organization.Nature & ScopePosition typically works with multiple levels of management across PRNA. Communication frequently includes sensitive information, requiring complete confidentiality and discretion in dealings with contacts. Decisions may impact the organization as a whole, and errors may cause significant expense to the entire organization. Requires a high level of service responsiveness to internal customers and a strong, collaborative partnership with HR colleagues.Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree required, focus within Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Employment Law a plus; culture and inclusion background a plusRequired Skills/KnowledgeDemonstrated success with people management, employee relations, labor relations, and employment law.Understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.Experience successfully implementing programs across geographically distributed teams.Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes, which govern employment policies and practices.Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.Experience developing and implementing employee engagement, culture and/or inclusion programming.Strong business acumen.Working ConditionsGeneral Office: Work is performed in a typical office environment. Limited demands for movement and lifting.
