Possesses an expert level of critical thinking and in-depth psychosocial assessments. Exhibits ability to apply complex concepts to situations. If carrying the correct licensure, may diagnose patients/clients/residents. May provide specialized counseling and support.Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team in providing assistance with social, emotional and economic concerns of the patients/clients/residents and families/caregivers, thus enabling them to achieve or maintain an optimal level of functioning.
