Healthcare Litigation Counsel

I am partnered with a rapid growing healthcare system with locations across the US. This organization just opened a hospital in New Jersey and they are looking for an Attorney to join the team and manage all prelitigation and litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple cases, especially in managed care and health care.
• Handle all prelitigation and litigation matters for the hospital system
• Regulatory and compliance oversight in the healthcare space
• Represent clients in all court, arbitration proceedings, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide client counseling, coordinating with associates and staff and work on vendor suits and negotiations

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Barred in good standing in New Jersey or eligible to waive into the NJ bar
• 3-5 years of experience from a law firm or in house healthcare company
• Previous experience with Prelitigation and litigation matters
• Proven record of working with vendors and working in a client facing position
• Healthcare knowledge required
