Position Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter at BGCP will play a vital role in sourcing dedicated and passionate individuals who share our commitment to empowering youth in our communities. Your primary responsibility will be to build a diverse and skilled team, aligned with BGCP's mission of providing equitable access to social, academic, and career opportunities for young people. With a focus on strategic planning and execution, you will ensure all departments have the right talent in place, while also cultivating a robust talent pipeline and advocating for BGCP's brand.

As a strategic thinker and effective executor, you'll provide exceptional customer service to internal hiring managers, external candidates, and partners alike. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, your role will be pivotal in driving BGCP's mission forward.

This role is open to a recruiter level to senior recruiter level depending on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including job listing management, participation in recruitment events and job fairs, advertising, social media engagement, and college information sessions.
  • Develop a robust talent pool for BGCP by employing diverse sourcing techniques, utilizing online tools, hosting in-person events, and forging partnerships with external organizations.
  • Lead the recruitment of 75-100 staff members annually, primarily part-time, front-line program staff.
  • Proactively strategize and plan for future hiring needs to ensure seamless staffing processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and conduct regular compensation studies to ensure competitive pay rates for BGCP roles.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with hiring managers, ensuring the recruitment team consistently presents top-tier candidates for all vacancies.
  • Cultivate an exceptional hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Development Team for social media postings and campaigns related to recruitment.
  • Develop effective pre-screening protocols and filters to enhance recruitment efficiency.
  • Manage and serve as administrator for BGCP’s online Application Tracking System (ATS).
  • Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Recruitment Expertise

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, with a significant portion focused on full-cycle recruitment and sourcing.
  • Proven experience in handling more senior-level or specialized positions.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting for diverse roles across different functions or departments.

Recruitment Expertise

  • Proficiency in utilizing a variety of sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Experience conducting in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple job requisitions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals and contribute to workforce planning.
  • Experience in developing creative sourcing strategies to target passive candidates.
  • Track record of collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide strategic recruitment guidance.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Strong negotiation skills for salary discussions and offers.

Data-Driven Approach

  • Proficiency in using recruitment metrics and data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to generate reports and present recruitment data to stakeholders.

Candidate Experience

  • Dedication to delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ability to communicate the organization's values, culture, and opportunities to candidates.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE:
You will be based at our Menlo Park office, with occasional travel to various sites and clubhouses as required from Monday to Thursday. Fridays will be designated for remote work from home.

ESTIMATED HOURS:
Generally, 9 AM to 5 PM, but flexibility is required to align with the organization's needs.

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience (DOE).
  • Health Benefits: BGCP covers 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums; 50% for dependents.
  • Retirement Benefits: BGCP offers up to 10% of salary contribution to the 401(k) plan.

ONBOARDING PROCESS

  • BGCP will cover all onboarding process requirements
  • COVID Vaccination: Preferred but not required
  • Complete LiveScan background check
  • Undergo a TB test
  • Participate in mandatory onboarding training sessions
