Under general supervision, perform duties related to assisting the instructional staff and students in various settings.
Tasks:
Monitors and assists students during arrival and departure of buses; Monitors students in lunch lines and during lunch period and returns students to classrooms in a timely manner; monitors students on field trips and other activities outside of classroom; monitors and disciplines students during recess according to policy; assists students to nurse's office in the event of illness or injury.
Assists teachers in leading learning activities, as assigned; leads learning activities in absence of teacher; assists students with math, spelling, and make-up work in classroom; corrects papers for teachers prepares copies of teaching materials developed by teachers.
Working with students and teachers for the betterment of the student.
