Job Description Senior Consultant (Business Analyst/ Domain Consultant) as part of Domain Consulting Group in the Manufacturing vertical will drive consulting led client engagements and actively support /lead sales opportunities working closely with Infosys senior delivery managers, client engagement managers and sales teams. The Consultant is expected to own the domain/business thread of a large IT program ensuring that the solution meets/exceeds client expectations providing high-quality and value-adding consulting solutions to the customer in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys. The ideal person should have 4+ years of extensive domain consulting and/or industry experience. Relevant IT experience is a plus. Area of expertise should be End to End Automotive/Mortgage Finance including loans and leases, Customer Experience. ResponsibilitiesWork on client assignments, typically large transformational IT programs, as an individual contributor or as a lead of junior consultantsEngage with client business and IT as well as with internal Infosys stakeholders throughout the phases of an IT program from planning through proposing a solution and implementationBe a conduit between Infosys IT teams and client business stakeholders, during subsequent phases of the programBe the Subject Matter Expert for the client and IT team. Define business / process models and document business & functional specifications considering industry best practicesProvide functions solution / domain expertise to the team and fulfil what is needed to meet project objectives and deliverablesWork with Infosys sales team to lead or drive business / functional content in client pursuits. Drive thought leadership initiatives including publishing knowledge assets internally and thought papers externallyDrive business workshops to define requirements and elaborate functional specifications of an IT solution. Contribute to account management strategy and unit strategy as required.Required Qualifications:4+ years of relevant experience as a domain / business consultant or Business Analyst or an industry practitioner in Automotive/Mortgage Finance domainExtensive experience across end-to-end value chain from Originations to Servicing and TerminationDemonstrates strong proficiency across all areas of industry knowledge and related best practices to provide insights to the customer on problems spanning multiple functional areasApplies broad based understanding of the package/product architecture, including configuration parameters, to implement multiple functionalities meeting both the business and non-functional requirementsAbility to understand and use advance analysis methods in slightly complex client scenarios to ensure problem areas are identified and impact on the business is understoodExperience in facilitating meeting and drive discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT team membersExposure to estimation process to convert requirements into sizing information. Experience in functional testingExperience in Use case and test scenario documentationBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
