About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aesthetics Medical Assistant to join our team at MetroDerm. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and assisting our medical team in delivering high-quality aesthetic treatments. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and experience during their visit.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in patient consultations and assessments, including taking medical histories and documenting patient information
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Assist medical team during aesthetic treatments, including laser procedures, injectables, and other cosmetic treatments
  • Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Help pproviders examine and treat patients, handing them instruments and materials
  • Ensure patient messages/concerns are attended to and handle promptly and in a professional manner
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
  • Inspects sterile items prior to opening and lay supplies out on sterile field in an organized manner
  • Responsible for cleaning room and medical equipment in between each patient and at the end of the day.
  • Correctly disposes of infection waste and biohazard materials
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a medical assistant program
  • Current certification as a medical assistant
  • Experience in a medical office or clinic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to travel to other locations as needed with assigned provider
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in an aesthetics or cosmetic medical setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Skills:
As an Aesthetics Medical Assistant, you will utilize your strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure that all patient information is accurately documented and that treatment rooms are properly prepared. You will also use your excellent communication skills to provide patients with clear post-treatment care instructions and to assist the medical team during procedures. Additionally, your experience in a medical office or clinic setting will be invaluable in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service possible.
