As a Build & Design Manager with Streamline Brands, you will be a key player in the success of our Franchise and Company-Owned Community. In this diverse position, you will assist our Build, Launch, and Growth team in a number of key areas during the Design, Build, and Launch process of new locations. A Build & Design Manager will oversee the process of a construction project from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and MS Outlook. Attention to detail is required. Ultimately, a Build & Design Manager should contribute directly to the successful launch of a new Streamline Brands school. This is a remote, full-time salaried position with some travel required.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To 85,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities

Assist the Build, Launch, and Growth team in the execution of all Streamline standards and processes with our Franchisees/Company-Owned School Managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise Company-Owned construction projects from start to finish
  • Manage the design process using commercial, contractual, program/time awareness, and technical expertise
  • Support Franchisees with consistent consulting efforts throughout their build process
  • Work with franchisees to ensure brand standards are being met
  • Review floor plans on Franchisee and Company-Owned builds and provide feedback to uphold Streamline Brands standards in material, design, and facility standards
  • Coordinate with the Build team and the Launch team
  • Process documentation and improvement
  • Travel onsite periodically during builds and acquisitions
  • Avoid errors and reduce financial risk during construction

Job Requirements:

A passion for overseeing a raw project through development and construction into a turnkey operation.

The job requirements include the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher
  • 3 years previous experience as General Contractor, Project Manager, and/or Build and Design Manager
  • Overseen Development and Construction while launching locations
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal and telephonic) and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently including Microsoft suite and Procore (or similar platform)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ensuring projects stay on time and on budget
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient Build Set knowledge
  • Submit projects for permitting and follow up with city officials to ensure projects stay on time
  • Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
  • Alignment with Streamline’s mission, vision, and values
  • Perform job responsibilities in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner at all times
  • Flexible schedule occasionally required
  • Other duties as assigned
