Job Requirements / Description

MediaTek is seeking a computer architect to join the architecture team within the compute and AI organization which is responsible for designing Mediatek’s CPUs and CPU infrastructure, including the system NOC, memory subsystems and IOs. The candidate will work with the design, DV and the performance teams to make sure the silicon meets the spec, and will also work with datacenter SoC teams to provide technical support in building the final product. The job involves architecture definition, micro-architecture design and etc.


Responsibilities

  • Work on architecture definition, performance analysis and architecture definition of datacenter class CPU technology.
  • Work on micro-architecture and supervise the design and verification teams in implementing the micro-architecture.
  • Support the DV team in creating testplans and defining functional checkpoints.
  • Provide well documented spec to the design and DV teams.
  • Coach and bring up new teams.


Qualification

  • BS or MS in EECS with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of microprocessor design.
  • Proven track record in building a complex design from the get-go.
  • Articulate and good at technical presentation.
  • Domain knowledge in datacenter SoC is highly appreciated



Salary range: $190,000 - $320,000


Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
