Contract Recruiter based in Mexico for Zendesk
Job Summary
The Product Development Practices and Enablement team enables the growth of our Engineering organisation by leading key business operations with excellence. As Zendesk continues to hire more engineers, we need an individual who is highly detail-oriented and organised, who can work with people across all global offices and manage a busy onboarding calendar. Your focus will be to ensure the global onboarding program runs smoothly, managing logistics and scheduling. You'll have the chance to impact the experience of every single new Zendesk engineer.
What you'll do:
- Collect input and feedback from new hires and key stakeholders to ensure the resources, content, presentations, and recordings are managed in a consistent format and are meeting the needs of new hires
- Coordinate global logistics for the global Engineering Onboarding program
- Setup and maintain the annual, global engineering onboarding calendar
- Manage logistics for new hire meet and greet events in each region
- Manage weekly onboarding tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Half-yearly reporting from participant feedback
- Audit new hire reports and conduct regular content reviews to ensure onboarding information is always up to date and relevant, liaise with relevant departments to ensure we have the correct information for each new hire
- Identify ways we can automate and streamline existing processes to improve the onboarding experience
- Recognise opportunities that can benefit the program/project, the team and/or the organisation
- Make decisions that support the efficiency and effectiveness and mitigate risk and reduce the uncertainty of these programs
- Manage expectations and unstated assumptions, solve issues, and resolve conflicts that can negatively impact the success of your programs/projects
- Escalate to senior management whenever decisions must be made that will alter outcomes
- Required:
- 2+ years' experience scheduling/coordinating in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ year's experience managing programs or multiple projects
- Experience working across multiple time zones
- Fully proficient in Google Suite
- Have outstanding communication, organisational, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Passionate about the employee experience
- Preferred:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant or experience working in an Onboarding, Enablement or Recruiting function
- Background in a SaaS tech company
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders
