Job Description:
Title: Logistics Associate
Job Location: Goleta California US
Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr on W2.
Duration: 6+ Months Contract (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
Essential Tasks:
- You will be required to work independently and provide high quality work while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- You also will be required to adhere to all safety standards, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks, and follow all department rules and regulations.
- You will be receptive to teamwork, collaboration, and communication as these are key attributes to your success.
What are the main functions of this role?
- Stocking material, kitting material, cycle counting material, and packaging/shipping material while transacting all functions in Raytheon’s SAP system.
Required Skill Sets:
- Experience in a warehouse environment, ability to follow Raytheon safety guidelines, warehouse management system experience (SAP preferred)
Desired Skill Sets:
- Excellent verbal and written communication, Excellent organizational and time management skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment where multi-tasking is required
- Years of Experience Required (if any): 5+
- Education Level Required: High School Diploma required; associate degree Preferred.
- How will the contractor’s success be measured? Hitting monthly metric targets for stocking and shipping
- Culture dynamic team in a safety-driven logistics department.
