Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Staff Accountant to work with the Finance team in our San Jose office. The candidate will support the Finance team with responsibilities from General Accounting to Financial Reporting. The position will be focus on month-end close (GL), HQ financial deliveries, and will report to the Manager of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist full cycle of month-end close, primarily in prep and review GL journal entries.
Monitor accuracy of daily operational finance data, including AR, AP, Bank, and Purchasing transactions.
Assure reconciliation on selected B/S, P&L, and inter-company accounts.
Verify and distribute financial updates, including weekly sales and job costing analysis.
Manage HQ financial deliveries and develop ad-hoc projects in a timely manner.
Assist in quarterly and annual audits with US and Headquarters CPA / Finance team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience (Required)
0 to 2 years' experience working in a finance department, preferably in manufacturing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience in Quickbooks or equivalent Accounting software a plus.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Thrives in a high performance, fast-paced environment, and high attention to detail.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
