Description
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for all functions related to the accounts payable process for assigned divisions of Moore.

Your impact:
  • Enters invoices in the accounting system, generates reports and processes checks with an extremely high level of accuracy.
  • Confirms and verifies purchase orders.
  • Assists with the completion of the month-end closing in a timely manner by ensuring all transactions in a given month are properly entered into the system.
  • Monitors all vendor payment agreements to ensure that all available discounts that applied to reduce invoice amounts.
  • Identifies transactions that do not comply with the Company's policies and escalates to the appropriate manager.
  • Tracks credits owed to the company and properly applies all credits to vendor payments.
Your P rofile:
  • 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience with the management of high-volume accounts payable invoices.
  • Bachelors' degree in accounting.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze vendor invoices to code to the proper expense category.
  • Strong customer service and oral and written communication skills required and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and of management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills and demonstrated initiative.
