Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced and innovative Social Media Manager who can bring our brands to life on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, and emerging social media channels. This role is based full-time in our Shelton, CT office and is essential for building brand awareness, driving traffic, and engaging with our target audiences. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong creative vision, capable of managing both organic and paid social media efforts to boost brand visibility and conversion.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Editorial Vision & Strategy: Shape and drive the brand’s social media editorial voice, ensuring that all content aligns with our style, quality, and tone. Develop and manage the social media content calendar, integrating both organic and paid strategies.
  • Paid Social Media Campaigns: Design, implement, and optimize paid social media campaigns to enhance audience reach, engagement, and conversions. Utilize platforms such as Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Pinterest, and YouTube to drive measurable results. Paid social experience is crucial for driving successful targeted campaigns.
  • Content Management: Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, written posts) with a proactive posting schedule. Take ownership of the social media content calendar, ensuring a balance of organic and paid strategies.
  • Engagement & Community Building: Engage with our audience daily, turning fans into loyal customers. Actively listen, respond, and foster relationships with influencers to boost brand advocacy.
  • Collaboration & Alignment: Partner with internal teams (SEO, merchandising, product) to align social media strategies with broader marketing and product goals. Ensure cohesive messaging across paid and organic social channels.
  • Campaigns & Promotions: Design and implement innovative programs and promotions, leveraging a mix of organic and paid efforts to boost engagement and community growth. Use blogs, PR, and other channels to create authentic brand awareness.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of both organic and paid social media campaigns. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve and optimize strategies, ensuring the brand stays ahead of trends and competitors.
  • Innovative Thinking: Stay on top of the latest digital and social media trends, incorporating new tools and ideas into both organic and paid social strategies to keep the brand at the forefront of social media.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional-level social media/content marketing experience, with extensive experience in managing paid social media campaigns . A strong preference is given to candidates with a background in education or teaching.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and experience with paid social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads, YouTube Ads).
  • Strong understanding of analytics, tracking, and monitoring tools to optimize both organic and paid social strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with high initiative, accountability, and ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and balancing organic and paid social efforts simultaneously.
