We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Administrative Assistant to support OMA Airport's food & beverage operations and accounting teams. This role will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, administrative duties, and clerical functions, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivables functions, including processing invoices and purchase orders.
  • Manage supplier information and verify account numbers to be charged.
  • Enter financial data into spreadsheets, databases, or accounting software with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure all entries are complete, accurate, and processed timely.
  • Prepares Accounts Payable accounts at the end of the pay period.
  • Post daily sales.
  • Provide inventory adjustment to the Controller and support office weekly.
  • Record expired, spoiled, and samples weekly.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence related to financial matters.
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for accounting documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Outlook, Word) and knowledge of accounting software (Business Central Accounting Software) is preferred.
  • Prior experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred.
