This individual will complete training in Munster, IN and will be based out of Munster, IN or Orland Park, IL
WORK HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the documentation of commercial loans including commercial real estate purchases and construction transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document commercial loans including commercial real estate purchases and construction transactions from approval through closing; Prepare LaserPro loan documents in accordance with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate and resolve any related documentation exceptions, including procedural and title issues, prior to loan closing and disbursement of loan proceeds.
- Input HMDA data into the HMDA LAR and work with the Closing Team Lead and Compliance area to ensure all data is correct for reporting.
- Contribute to and assist in overall lending operations to ensure the department runs efficiently; Perform ongoing maintenance of collateral ticklers for security documentation tracking purposes.
- Assist with the review of collateral insurance documents to determine adequacy of coverage; Assist Commercial Loan Officers with servicing commercial loan customers in all aspects of their banking relationship.
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience - Two (2) or more years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of commercial loan policy, procedures, documentation and core banking systems.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
