POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional service for all guest and internal events. This role is an integral part of the food and beverage team, and will ensure that the product, service, and facility cleanliness are of the highest quality while delivering superior employee and guest experience. This position pays $15/hr + tips.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • To understand and practice the serving of alcoholic beverages in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures; maintain facility cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or situations needing immediate attention
  • Set-up bar: stock beer, wine, liquor, glassware etc. as needed
  • Promote and sell products
  • Adhere to sound cash-management procedures
  • Attend all shift and training meetings
  • Daily close-outs and deposits, as assigned
  • Handle all guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Responsible for other duties assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a high-volume and/or fine dining environment
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Possesses a proficient knowledge of wine, beer & liquor quality, and preparation of alcoholic beverages
  • Certified to serve alcohol in accordance with Vermont State Liquor Laws
  • Must be organized, be able to multitask and be able to make quick independent decisions
  • Ability to quickly adapt to an ever changing environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
