In-House Consultant - Technical Advisor

We're looking to welcome an In-House Consultant to join the team to provide technical expertise.

Responsibilities will include the following:

1. Perform technical advisory leadership and coordination in support of SBCTA on Zero Emissions Multiple Unit (Zemu) rail program during the system testing phase.
2. Support will identify and incorporate key FRA and other third-party requirements into the master delivery scheduling.
3. Role shall include identification and support of testing compliance requirements and criteria, strategies for testing, procedures to be implemented, and rollout plans for proper operation of the facility.
4. Key agency coordination will include FTA, Metrolink, SBCTA, emergency responders, etc.

We invite applications from candidates with these qualifications:

1. 20+ years of experience
2. Experience in rail operations for public transportation agencies
3. Experience in system safety for public transportation agencies
4. Experience working with the FRA and the FRA process to implement new passenger rail vehicles
5. Extensive knowledge of 49CFR as it relates to new passenger rail vehicles

Salary Range: 125/hr-220/hr
