Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporaries are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.

This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 5605 Six Forks Rd., Raleigh, NC 27699.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, traveling to local health departments (LHDs) to collect, record, organize, and analyze LHD issued septic system permits (digitize/scan), collect geo-spatial data, and create housing on a septic system database and provide summaries. This position may assist in education and outreach efforts related to community engagement.

  • Considerable knowledge of services, policies and procedures related to a program or area of specialization.

  • Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information; ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, manipulation and/or analysis of data.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
