Job Description Summary: PayPal Ads is seeking an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record in building advertising businesses and managing cross-functional teams. This individual will be responsible for the commercialization strategy and execution of PayPal’s offsite media efforts, the PayPal Ad Network.

Job Title: Sr. Director, Head of Offsite Commercialization and 3P Partnerships, PayPal Ads

About the role: PayPal Ads is seeking an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record in building advertising businesses and managing cross-functional teams. You will own the programmatic strategy and implementation for both offsite media and PayPal-owned properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement the long-term vision for monetization of offsite media for PayPal Ads.
  • Own all 3P partnerships for PayPal Ads.
  • Own all programmatic solutions on the buy and sell side.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, finance, and engineering teams.
  • Work with external companies such as DSPs, SSPs, measurement and data providers.
  • Define the right balance between short-term revenue maximizing initiatives and long-term growth bets.
  • Be the conduit between sales, operations, product, engineering, training, communications, legal, and privacy for offsite media.
  • Work with Marketing and PR to develop a marketing and comms plan.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in a leadership position in affiliate marketing or advertising technology.
  • 10 years of leadership experience in affiliate marketing strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a multi-million-dollar affiliate business.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Travel required, as necessary, for customer-facing activities and team collaboration.
  • Recognize and understand critical cultural approaches to doing business globally.

PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $143400 to $285450.
