D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for aRegional Financial Analyst-WA . The right candidate will Assist Regional CFO by conducting quantitative analyses of division financial information within the Region. Conduct audits on budgets and projected costs in existing projects. Complete financial research and analysis on projects assigned by Region CFO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare reports and analyses required by the Region CFO
- Assist the Region CFO and Region Controller to consolidate the Regional Business Plan
- Maintain the capital allocation forecast for all divisions in the region
- Review proposed off-balance sheet land acquisitions and work with divisions on forecasting model
- Provide critical financial analysis to the Region CFO
- Monitor divisional performance in key metrics (Sales, Starts, Closings, Backlog, Gross Profit, SG&A spending, ROI, Inventory Turn) vs. Budget and Prior Year
- Communicate accounting needs effectively with others in non-financial roles
- Responsible for weekly and quarterly reports to the Region CFO
- Assist the Region CFO with annual budget and updates
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Directly manages two or more employees in the Accounting Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Two to five years of related experience and/or training
- Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Thrive in fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
Annual Salary $75,000 - $80,000 (DOE) plus bonus potential!
