Position Overview:
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and supplies critical to our production processes. This role requires strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and the ability to negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs while ensuring quality and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for chemicals and raw materials to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best pricing and delivery options.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, pricing models, and potential suppliers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and inventory management teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
- Cost Control: Monitor and analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the chemicals industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
