Responsibilities:

1. Efficient and strategic patent prosecution
2. Build relationships with USPTO examiners
3. Patent portfolio development/management
4. Build relationships with in-house counsel
5. Understand the client’s business objectives and how their IP strategies support those objectives
6. Client management/development
7. Jump in and immediately be on the front lines working directly with clients

Qualifications:

1. Technical background, preferably having a degree in electrical engineering, computer science and/or physics
2. 3+ years of experience in preparation and/or prosecution of patent applications
3. JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice
