The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.

The Global Corporate and Investment Bank (GCIB) delivers the full breadth of MUFG’s global platform to our largest U.S. Corporate clients. Our go-to-market model supports top-tier core lending relationships across all major industry verticals.

Global Corporate and Investment Bank Finance Team Mission

  1. Be a trusted advisor to the GCIB Americas management team.
  2. Establish and maintain financial discipline across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of GCIB Americas.
  3. Analyze financial performance to optimize resource deployment, including capital, liquidity & expense dollars.
  4. Advise CEO/CFO/Product Heads on areas of growth and investment for the business.

Background and Responsibilities

  1. Analyze and present business performance: revenue, spreads, expenses, balance sheet, and returns.
  2. Work with business and finance teams to ensure accuracy of actuals and generate timely/detailed/accurate forecasts/budgets and resulting variance analysis.
  3. Work with Product Groups to generate forecasts and budgets.
  4. Build a comprehensive monthly package and present to management.
  5. Process improvements for data attribution, forecast model, financials, and monthly walks.
  6. Regular collaboration with the product finance teams and central finance.

Skills/Requirements:

  1. Effective presentation & written communication skills.
  2. Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
  3. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Detail-oriented self-starter.
  5. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint; ability to model and create complex spreadsheets, look-up tables, pivot tables, and understand/analyze the results.
  6. Knowledge of Hyperion is preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $98K - $121K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
