Tax Manager, Top CPA Firm
We are excited to announce an opening for a Tax Manager at our well-established, leading Southeast based CPA firm. Compensation: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing high-level services in individual and business taxation areas.
- Oversee project timelines and delegate tasks to associates and senior associates ensuring efficient workflow and deadline adherence.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless execution of tax engagement phases.
- Review business and individual tax returns, offering timely, constructive feedback to improve processes and outcomes.
- Maintain excellence in client services, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on tax laws, accounting developments, and best practices to ensure firm compliance and leadership in the market.
- Encourage team development and process enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Engage in practice development activities and contribute to various firm-wide initiatives.
- Specialize in a particular tax area, enhancing the firm’s expertise and service offerings.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on individual and business tax review.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or active progress towards achieving it.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
- Prior experience in a managerial role within a tax department.
