Our client is building their early team and looking for 2-4 engineers to help develop their first product MVP (a laser gun)
This opening is for an optics engineer with experience in EECS, optics, photonics, laser system development, and/or robotics. This person will simulate and design new laser systems and retrofit existing systems to maximize power downrange. This person will be familiar with laser physics in at least a basic capacity and be ready to do laser work that no one has done before. There will be opportunities to publish in this position as well.

Role responsibilities
• Simulate and design new laser systems
• Retrofit existing systems to maximize power down-range
• Develop electro-mechanical and cooling systems in support of the laser system
• Do what is necessary for the company to succeed
• Located onsite in San Francisco
