OBJECTIVE

Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating field sales action plans. Meets financial objectives maximizing profitability for the company by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual performance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and oversee the CBS Sales Team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to sales executives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence..

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and manage our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Provide new employee onboarding and training as well as ongoing coaching and goal setting for all Sales Executives. Responsible for overseeing and updating training programs, job descriptions and policy changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings.
  • Approve all bids with your sales team and be personally responsible for training and verifying that bids are filled out properly and completely including once an account is won or lost.
  • Do written field evaluations, sales quarterly evaluations and annual reviews on each of your direct reports. Responsible for the annual review process and to continually make sure it is effectively measuring what our offices need to evaluate and communicate with the sales staff.
  • Read trade magazines, business journals, etc., incorporating the best ideas from others, and growing our organization.
  • Collaborate with marketing/sales coordinator to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Interview, select, and manage relationships with independent contractors assuring there is always a full stable of service providers.
  • Work with peer in Janitorial Sales Department to establish and maintain synergy between the two sales teams.
  • Serve as point person on collections, accounts receivable, and issues that arise exceeding sales executives' ability to manage.

  • Aptitude – Must have the aptitude to grasp the concept of the projects you are working on. Additionally, you must be able to see the “big picture” and prioritize your work accordingly.
  • Conflict Resolution - Ability to deal with others in an antagonistic situation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years B2B sales management experience in the construction (or related) industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
