ISIT Cybersecurity Lead

Job Description

A world leader in the oil & gas industry is looking for an ISIT Cybersecurity Lead to design, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in IT/OT security with a deep understanding of network architectures, security protocols, and cybersecurity frameworks. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the new hire will drive business efficiency by ensuring compliance with security standards and staying current with emerging threats and technologies.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

  • $135,000-$145,000+ Bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain secure IT and OT network architectures for offshore assets
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity measures for both IT and OT environments
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Respond to and mitigate security incidents
  • Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/OT security, with focus on industrial control systems
  • In-depth knowledge of IT and OT network architectures and protocols
  • Proficiency in applying NIST and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
  • Understanding of offshore operations and associated security challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP) preferred
  • Experience in the oil and gas or maritime industry preferred
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and compliance standards preferred
