Amazon Web Services (AWS) State and Local Government Health and Human Service team is leading a paradigm shift in how cloud is transforming the delivery of health, healthcare, and social benefit programs. Our team is in search of an exceptionally qualified individual with expertise in cloud technology and Integrated Eligibility (MA, SNAP, Cash Assistance) with program experience at the federal, state and/or local level of government.As part of the Integrated Eligibility team, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on a national strategy to help transform benefits programs across the country. You will drive the adoption of AWS for critical HHS technology systems that improve customer outcomes for beneficiaries and agencies through system modernization.You will bring an understanding of the HHS landscape and apply active listening, critical thinking, and creative approaches to help our customers solve their most critical problems with the help of cloud technologies. You will establish and execute strategic programs working with many AWS partners to identify existing solutions or identify opportunities for new development. You will learn, leverage, and bring to bear support from across AWS teams (including account managers, solutions architects, marketing, professional services, compliance, product, sales enablement, sales operations, and other related teams) to drive results for our customers.Key job responsibilitiesKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Engage and build trusted partnerships with State Medicaid Agencies at the executive level (e.g., State Medicaid Director, Medicaid CIO, etc.).• Develop and execute strategies that drive partner and customer cloud adoption, starting with key problems facing HHS benefits administration customers and problems/challenges.• Serve as a highly credible expert in HHS benefits eligibility and delivery domain with AWS partners, customers, and internal AWS teams.• Work with AWS partners to develop repeatable solutions, programs, and models to accelerate and drive cloud adoption.• Develop joint go-to-markets and other solutions to create new opportunities with our partners.• Perform administrative business development functions to lead national strategy, partnering with AWS Partners and Account Managers/Executives to deliver results.About the teamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
