ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Manage Incoming Communications:Answer and screen calls promptly and professionallyProvide accurate information to callers and respond to inquiriesDirect calls to appropriate staff or departmentCultivate a welcoming and positive environment in the Career Resources Area2. Customer ReceptionGreet customers entering the PA CareerLink with warmth and professionalismOffer courteous and helpful customer servicesGuide customers to the appropriate partners for services based on intake formInform customers about the daily orientation scheduleAssists customers in the PA CareerLink Resources CenterCoordinate referral process with the community partners3. Document ManagementMaintain necessary paperwork for the PA CareerLink, including filing documentsAssists in data collection and generate reportsInput data accurately into various databases or spreadsheetsEnsures timely handling, addressing, and dispatching of PA CareerLink surveys and other correspondences4. Resource Center AssistanceFamiliarize yourself with available resources within the PA CareerLink Resource CenterFacilitate a smooth referral process with community partners, prioritizing customer needs5. Business ServicesAssists with business services and business educationPromote business initiativesEngage with local business to establish and strengthen partnershipsMaintain and nurture existing relationships with employer clientsCo-facilitate Business Services activitiesHelp to organize and conduct industry tours with business partners to educate the future workforce about the local labor market and in-demand occupationsMonitor and report business services goals and outcomes on a quarterly basis • Prepare and submit reports to Business Services Coordinator for review6. Additional Supportive DutiesMaintains the daily staff schedule for PA CareerLinkVerify, correct, and record information as directed by proceduresOrganize and files paperwork appropriately7.
