About the Role:

The Product Finance Director – Global CK will support the Senior Director of Product Finance and serve as a financial advisor and business partner, offering insights to enable fact-based decision-making. This role is responsible for supplying to the development of business strategies for the Global CK product categories, while supervising financial business planning and performance to ensure alignment with the brand’s strategy and achievement of financial targets within the PVH+ Plan. Additionally, the director will identify and lead ad hoc projects as required.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with product category leads to develop financial strategies, set priorities, and establish targets for seasonal product development and product category financials.
  • Steer Senior Financial Analyst for product category target setting and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with key team members and contribute to product meetings to make data-driven decisions for financial product goals.
  • Gather current information on labor, materials, freight, and customs duties to ensure efficient product planning.
  • Handle business risk to protect the division’s assets; make recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Discover opportunities, provide strategic recommendations, and question category leads for efficient future business growth.
  • Provide insights into current season product trends.
  • Drive ad hoc product initiatives to improve category growth and profitability.
  • Direct improvements to reporting and analytical tools.
  • Provide regular reporting and communication for the product category leads.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results.
  • Collaborate with cross functional category teams as well as counterparts in regional brand finance teams.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in (merchandise) planning and financial management.
  • 3-5 years global experience in senior financial position in the retail or apparel industry.
  • Direct experience with product categories, extensive experience in budgeting and category sales planning and pricing strategies.
  • Proven track record in meeting financial goals and important metrics related to the financial category.
  • Proven track record of leading successful brand initiatives that enhance product growth.
  • Critical thinking: proficiency in crafting long-term product strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Financial strategy development: build and implement financial plans for evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, and ability to interpret sophisticated data.
  • Strong background in cost control.
  • Extensive comprehension of the apparel industry.
  • Experience in leading large-scale projects and budgets.
  • Ability to develop brand plans that prioritize consumer needs.
  • Capable of building positive relationships, influencing and negotiating with senior executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to identify financial issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Developing and guiding less senior team members.
  • Business fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft package software programs.
  • Knowledge of SAP financial packages.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Planning is required, or equivalent experience. MBA, CFA, or CMA recommended.

Pay Range: $145,000 - $175,000
