Overview of Role

66degrees is seeking a Senior contractor to engage on a 2.5 month remote assignment for 40 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Qualifications

Required skills:

1. 5-8 years of backend experience in developing cloud-native applications
2. Java, Spring Boot, GCP experience/knowledge is required
3. Experience in MicroService architecture.
4. Experience in event-driven architecture.
5. Background in professional services/consulting.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Eagerness to work in a teamwork/collaborative environment.

Nice to have skills:

1. SAP/ODATA
2. Understanding of Containerization (Kubernetes) and orchestration
3. Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and proficiency in CI/CD tools – GitLab CI
4. API Integration/Development (Restful API)
