Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

What you’ll do as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

  1. Your daily tasks will include reviewing policy, categorizing systems and applications, as well as performing remediation activities for projects that have entered continuous monitoring.
  2. You will be supporting projects in multiple environments such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or on-premises.

Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Requirements

  1. Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  2. BS or higher in computer science, IT, engineering, applied mathematics, or a closely related field.
  3. 8+ years of relevant work experience with a BS.
  4. 6+ years of relevant work experience with an MS.
  5. Team player with excellent communication skills.
  6. Relocation to Raleigh, NC; this position involves minimal travel for collaboration with customers and partners. Willing to work onsite 3 days a week.
  7. Team members may need to travel to support site inspections and assessments.

Information Systems Security Officer Preferences

  1. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  2. Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  3. Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  4. Experience with tools such as Xacta and eMASS.
