Position Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This individual will provide support in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting for both the company and our private equity partners. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Essential Job Duties
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Building and maintaining financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and profitability. Analyzing trends to assist senior management in making data-driven decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitoring actual performance against the budget and identifying variances.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Gathering financial data from various sources, preparing reports for management, investors, or the private equity firm. This may include income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Due Diligence Support: Assisting in the financial due diligence process during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including collecting data and reviewing key financial documents.
- Valuation Support: Contributing to valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparables, or precedent transactions, particularly in support of potential acquisitions.
- KPI Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) that are critical to the company's financial health, providing insights to improve operational performance.
- Investment Performance Monitoring: Helping to track the performance of the company’s investments or assets owned by the private equity firm, including returns on investment and capital deployed.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Participating in various projects such as improving financial processes, assisting in the implementation of financial systems, and supporting the senior finance team with ad-hoc analysis.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Working closely with other departments (e.g., accounting, operations, and sales) to ensure financial accuracy and gain insights into operational performance.
- Private Equity-Specific Reporting: Preparing reports or analyses specifically tailored for the private equity owners, such as EBITDA performance, cash management, and debt leverage ratios.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and working with large data sets.
- Familiarity with financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience or internships in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

- Work Schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home (remote on Friday)
