Summary of the Role
This role reports to and operates under the guidance and direction of the Production Manager. This role assists in all marketing and communication strategies, including video, website, podcast, social media support, digital and print. This role provides support for fundraising events, and assists with external and internal communication, including our monthly mission-wide staff newsletter. This role is primarily on-site, 25 hours per week, with some hybrid options available.

Job Plan
· Assist in carrying out marketing and communication strategies for MTM, including videography, website, fundraising appeals and social media
· Assist with website, keeping it functional and the information current
· Assist with social media design, publishing, monitoring and analytics
· Create monthly all staff newsletters and handle the distribution of all staff email communication
· Assist with gathering stories and other content as assigned
· Assist with monitoring, researching and reporting of marketing campaign results
· Assist in maintaining MTM's digital reputation by submitting award applications, updating third party websites and encouraging online reviews
· Provide general support to the marketing team as needed
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, graphic design, public relations or a related field preferred
· 4 years' experience in related role preferred
· Demonstrated experience with simple graphic design projects
· Ability to develop materials for a variety of audiences with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
· Thorough working knowledge of multi-media and marketing principles and production practices
· Working knowledge about SEM and SEO concepts
· Computer literacy including thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs, Canva; experience with content management systems preferred
· Expert communication skills
