Job Description
The purpose of this job is to manage and grow existing less than 60 fleet customer accounts over the telephone in a fast-paced, high-producing environment.
- Cultivate customer relationships over the telephone by serving as the primary point of contact on accounts
- Focus on anticipating customer needs, resolve customer issues, address customers’ wholesale needs, and maximize mutual value toward SMART gallon and profit goals
- Coordinate internal resources to continually identify growth opportunities and strengthen customer relationships
- Develop value propositions through demonstrated industry knowledge of products and services, fuel and trucking industry, geographic conditions, competitors’ services, and market dynamics
- Use tools and technologies to assess customer needs, formulate market-specific analyses, and develop sales plans to achieve goals
- Perform internal account reviews and actual value summaries to increase mutual value and account penetration/wallet share growth
- Maximize potential profitability by setting account objectives and developing plans to fulfill company compliance and deal processing needs
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum one year experience with telemarketing sales preferred, or five plus years’ experience with telemarketing sales
Specialized Knowledge
- Knowledge of fuel and trucking industry
- Thorough knowledge of company products and offerings
- Beginner CRM (preferably Salesforce) skills
- Beginner Microsoft Office skills
