Just-Evotec Biologics, an Evotec company, is seeking a Director, HR Site Head for its Redmond and Seattle sites. The Director acts as a partner to the site leadership team and is responsible for aligning and executing both the global and local People agenda to support business needs.
You would be required to be in office 4 days a week and 1 day work from home.
Responsibilities:
Site HR Leadership:
- Participate as a member of the Site leadership team, representing and driving the HR agenda.
- Collaborate with site leaders to develop, implement and monitor talent and organizational programs that enable the achievement of business goals.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching on talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Act as a credible influencer, motivator and change agent.
- Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence, Shared Services, HR peers, key stakeholder groups and enabling functions to meet site needs.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Partner with Global Talent Acquisition to enhance recruitment, selection, and onboarding of top-tier talent.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels to address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions for workplace issues.
Performance Management:
- Embed the Evotec (or Group) Performance Management approach to drive individual and organizational success.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback to enable a motivated and high performing team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Work closely with the Global Compensation & Benefits COE to provide feedback on local competitive compensation and benefits programs and educate managers and employees on compensation processes and approaches in line with the Group compensation approach.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations and are aligned globally where possible.
- Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive compliance measures.
- Communicate and implement Global HR policies, processes and practices in a clear and consistent manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an FDA-regulated environment; Biotech is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience successfully working in a multi-national, highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, facilitation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
