Job Summary:
The Channel Partner Director is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners to drive sales and revenue. They will play a key role in identifying, onboarding, and supporting partners while also managing the performance of existing partners. Position is primarily remote and requires 50% travel but will attend monthly meetings at HQ office in Lenexa, KS.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieve established revenue targets through channel partners.
- Maintain positive and engaging relationships with channel partners.
- Educate partners on our services and products and provide ongoing training, including webinars, presentations, meetings, and materials.
- Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as activity, quotes, sales, and revenue.
- Work with the marketing department to develop training and sales materials for channel partners.
- Collaborate with channel partners to develop a pipeline of initiatives to increase sales.
- Develop and implement channel partner programs such as incentives.
- Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales (B2B service sales preferred).
- 3+ years of experience selling through channel partners preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in channel partner management preferred.
- Experience selling services to large National Accounts preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners to the point they become advocates.
- Experience navigating complex vendor/customer problems and negotiating positive outcomes.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales and revenue targets.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
