What You'll Do

We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to develop strategy and execute testing of Cisco Crosswork Cloud without existing cookbook solutions. Cisco Crosswork Cloud is a cloud-based service providing rich analysis of routing and network data designed to significantly reduce the meantime to repair networking issues. You will:

  • Work across engineering (Front & Back-end Web) to prepare and execute test plan
  • Automate provisioning of services in test environments
  • Work with virtualized instances to do scale testing
  • Code in various programming languages/scripting to automate tests for the full solution
  • Interest in automation framework design and implementation
  • Build and deploy CI automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.

You'll collaborate with cross functional teams in Development and Product Design to solve complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Software development experience
  • Knowledge of Python and Selenium
  • Knowledge of system configuration automation and test methodologies
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA etc
  • Understanding of networking technologies, AWS, Linux, Virtualization, HTTP/HTTPS etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related areas

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses.

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components.
