The Position

A D+H Human Resources Manager leads the Human Resources function for the company overseeing all aspects of HR, including:

  • Recruiting and onboarding employees
  • Administering pay, benefits, and leaves of absence
  • Facilitating performance evaluations
  • Enforcing company policies and practices
  • Managing employee relations
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Partnering with senior leadership on Human Resources strategy

What’s Required by You

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment and thrives on developing talent and fostering a strong organizational culture. You will have/be:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification, highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR Manager or Business Partner related experience, Construction industry experience preferred.
  • A strong understanding of employment law.
  • Energetic and resourceful with a strong service orientation.
  • A demonstrated ability to take initiative andmanage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work at the Berkeley office full-time. No relocation assistance will be offered.
